Lastly, the committees during the conference will operate according to the rules of procedure, make sure to familiarise yourself with them if you haven't already!
SkyMUN offers housing to a select number of students for whom it is too far to travel back and forth during the conference. Unfortunately that means students are chosen based on whoever lives furthest away from the SkyMUN location. We advise you to fill in the housing form early, so we are able to take your request into account as quick as possible. When a participant is assigned to a hostfamily, allergies and food diets will be taken into account if indicated form.
It is certainly possible to stay in a hotel during the conference. Nijmegen offers a variety of accommodations within the city centre, which is only a 20 minutes commute from Nijmegen Central Station to Kandinsky College. There is a bus stop right in front of the school (Irene Vorrinkstraat). We recommend booking an accommodation within the city centre, as it is most efficient to reach the school through public transport from there.
Our wonderful Housing Department provides lunch and a snack every day of the conference. They aim at making lunch as accessible as possible to each and everyone, but it might be handy to bring some extra food if you believe it is necessary for your allergy/diet. If you arrive at Nijmegen Central Station, bus 6 (in direction of Dukenburg Station) will take you to the bus stop Irene Vorrinkstraat; you will be right in front of the school building when you get off.
